At A Meaningful Life Inc. our family caregiver training services provide education and support directly to the family caregiver of an individual. The service is intended to increase the confidence and stamina of the caregiver to provide support to the individual that is relevant, meaningful, and propels them toward their vision of a good life. Education and training activities are based on the family/caregiver’s unique needs and must be specifically identified in the Person-Centered Individualized Support Plan (PCISP).
A Meaningful Life Inc. is located in Evansville, IN, and provides services in Vanderburgh, Posey, Warrick, and Gibson counties.
Family caregiver training activities include:
Treatment regimens and use of equipment.
Stress management.
Parenting training specific to the disability of the child.
Family dynamics training specific to the disability.
Community integration.
Behavioral intervention strategies.
Mental health training specific to the disability.
Caring for medically fragile individuals.
